I'm hosting a Jewelry Party for about 15 guests (all women). What are some good food ideas? I'm not doing a formal dinner. I've got my essentials already planned: salad, fruit tray, cake, cookie's and drinks. I need 3 or 4 food ideas though. It will be buffet style.

I want to wear blue jewelry but not have blue in the flowers or cake. What flower colors won't clash with the blue jewels?

My friend is doing a jewelry party and i will be doing a cake tasting party together. I will be doing between 4-6 different flavor cakes. How much cake should I make for sampling and how much to make for buying on the spot? This will be my first cake tasting party and I am hoping to generate business for the holiday season. ( I already know about licensing and all that) I usually just make whole cakes for celebrations. I will have pictures of previous cakes as well as business cards/flyers.
